Role: Medical Secretary to GP - Primary Care
Location: The London General Practice
Full-Time: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent - Monday to Friday
Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
We are looking for a Medical PA/Secretary to join our supportive Primary Care Team based in The London General Practice to work for a GP. The London General Practice is based in Harley Street and is one of London’s most prestigious Doctors clinics. LGP cares for a wide range of patients from all over the world, many of them well known from industry, politics, media and film.
The Medical PA role is exciting as you will work closely with a GP to support the care for their patients. As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued provision of the highest quality of secretarial and administrative support in Primary Care. The team is friendly and you will enjoy working in our busy prestigious private clinic.
Duties will include:
- Providing full secretarial support to GPs
- Managing patient appointments
- Liaising with patients and hospital staff as required
You will have a calm, patient and polite telephone manner and the ability to explain sometimes complicated processes to our patients. The role is interesting and challenging; you will be properly trained and supported working onsite in a small and friendly team only ten minutes’ walk from Oxford Street. Good computer skills are important and experience in healthcare in a similar role will be an advantage.
