Location – The Lister Hospital
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week. The post will also require you to participate in an on-call system which is set up for the cryo alarm. The role offers an attractive and competitive salary depending on experience + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development).
About the Role
The Senior Embryologist is expected to perform all aspects of the routine embryology service offered by the Fertility Unit. Routine laboratory maintenance and administration will also be a requirement of the potholder. The post requires five days per week and a rota of one in four Saturdays to be shared with the other Senior Embryologist.

- All aspects of routine embryology
- All aspects of routine andrology
- Responsible for mentoring existing embryologist
- Participate in all aspect of routine embryology including ICSI and IMSI
- Be able to participate in the embryo biopsy programme
- Participate in the PGTA programme
- Assist in running of donor sperm bank
Skills & Experience
For this role you will hold a BSc in Life Science and be ACE certificated or equivalent with experience of clinical ICSI. Previous experience as an embryologist. Ideally embryo biopsy trained, however not essential.
