  • Full time: 37.5 Hours per week
  • Shift times: Monday to Friday – 8am to 5.30pm
  • Fixed Term Contract: From around 8th September until mid/end December
  • Salary: £40,000 Pro Rata

Overview:

We are seeking several Flu Nurses to join our Primary Care Team for this year\’s Flu Campaign. This is a fixed-term contract of 3 months, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the flu immunisation program at HCA Healthcare UK. Our nurses enjoy a supportive working environment and meaningful work.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer flu vaccinations at various healthcare facilities across London
  • Record patient vaccinations and manage vaccine storage
  • Assess patient suitability for vaccination according to PGD
  • Monitor patients\’ reactions during vaccination
  • Follow infection control policies
  • Ensure proper storage of vaccines
  • Maintain inventory of supplies

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing
  • NMC Registration
  • Knowledge of vaccine safety, sharps management, and storage protocols
  • Previous NHS or private sector nursing experience
  • Patience and compassion
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literacy
