The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Location: Elstree Diagnostic Treatment Centre, Beaufort house, Elstree Rd, Elstree, Borehamwood WD6 3BS.

Essential requirement: must be able to drive due to the location.

Flexible shifts:

  • Weekday shifts available: 8:00am – 4:00pm, 12:00pm – 8:00pm, or 8:00am – 8:00pm
  • 2 Saturdays per month (8:00am – 1:00pm)

Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week

Permanent position.

Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll support a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services, undertaking delegated clinical duties such as monitoring vital signs, assisting with procedures including ECGs, venepuncture and cannulation, and contributing to patient flow through admissions and discharges. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients are supported throughout their pathway, providing both clinical and emotional care, while maintaining a safe, efficient and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a clinical or outpatient setting.
  • Competency (or willingness to train) in clinical observations and basic procedures.
  • Ideally experience with ECGs, venepuncture or cannulation.
  • A strong commitment to patient‑centred care and excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive approach and ability to use your own initiative.
