That's why we're looking for a compassionate and experienced Department Manager to lead our Breast Unit and associated outpatient services at the Wellington Hospital Outpatient Centre.We are embarking on an exciting phase of growth and transformation across our outpatient services. In addition to leading the Breast Unit, the successful applicant will play a pivotal role in shaping and developing the future outpatient offering on the 3rd Floor. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.What you’ll do:Provide clinical, operational and professional leadership for the Breast Unit and outpatient services, ensuring safe, effective and high quality patient careLead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary breast care team, creating a positive and supportive working environmentDrive service development and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient experience and clinical outcomesBuild strong working relationships with consultants and multidisciplinary stakeholders to support seamless patient pathwaysMonitor governance, quality and performance measures, implementing appropriate actions to support continuous improvementWhat you’ll bring:Clinical background with current professional registration in a relevant healthcare professionPrevious experience working within a breast serviceProven track record of successfully managing a multidisciplinary team and supporting colleagues to deliver high quality careOperational and service management experience, including leading service improvements and influencing changeProven experience in service development, working closely with consultants and stakeholders across a multidisciplinary team environment to improve services and patient outcomesA strong track record of building effective relationships with consultants and stakeholders to support service expansion and new service implementation.Commercial awareness and an ability to balance operational excellence with growth opportunities and strategic objectives.Experience managing complex services through periods of change and organisational development.Why HCA UK?Originally founded over 50 years ago by Dr Thomas Frist, HCA has gone on to become one of the world's leading healthcare providers.
