Location: The Harley Street Clinic

Permanent, Full time – 37.5 hours per week. This role does not offer hybrid working.

Shift Times: Monday – Friday, 9-5pm with flexibility to start earlier and later.

We’re looking for a Practice Manager to join our Neurosurgery team based at The Harley Street Clinic, one of London’s leading private healthcare facilities. As a vital part of our team, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy neurosurgery practice, managing a team of 6 medical secretaries and collaborating with 7 Consultants. What you’ll do:

  • Operational Management: Oversee clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflows and smooth coordination across teams.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team, promoting a positive work culture and fostering professional growth.
  • Patient Care: Ensure high-quality, compassionate care and a seamless patient experience from start to finish.
  • Compliance & Quality: Maintain regulatory compliance, implement quality assurance programs, and manage clinic systems to ensure excellence in patient services.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the financial aspects of the clinic.

What you’ll bring:

  • Prior experience as a Practice Manager in a healthcare or clinical setting (private sector preferred).
  • Several years of experience within people management is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills with a proven ability to manage a diverse team and drive operational success.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical office operations, and patient care.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in using hospital or clinical IT systems.
