At HC-One, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our Flex Force team. Flex Force offers contracted hours and guaranteed set pay each month, with the freedom to choose shifts that fit around family life or other commitments. Shifts are available across our care homes in the Walsall area, providing variety and flexibility to shape your working week. Shifts are scheduled between Monday and Sunday and may include days, nights, and weekends. As a Flex Force Care Assistant, you’ll travel between a cluster of our homes, which is an essential and expected part of the role.
As a Flexible Care Assistant at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all. Our care encompasses Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care, with a focus on providing the kindest and highest quality care. You’ll help residents maintain dignity and individuality and engage in general activities within the care home. You may support someone with limited mobility, provide emotional support, or deliver care at the end of life, always prioritising the resident’s well-being.
Duties are varied and will include the following responsibilities:
- Supporting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals
- Helping residents with limited mobility
- Taking responsibility for the wellbeing of residents on and off site
A driving license with access to a vehicle is advantageous but not essential. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility in adult social care. You should recognise signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in related areas. You will also be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
