As a newly qualified nurse at HC-One, you will be supported to grow in your career with our Gold Standard Nursing Preceptorship Programme, helping you to build on your existing skillset while practicing in a nurse-led environment. You will make a difference to our residents at a time of their life when they may feel the most vulnerable, and they will look to you to guide and support them in life-changing decisions, which is a humbling and unbelievably rewarding part of the role.
About you
- Registered Nurse with a valid Pin number and a commitment to your profession through the standards of practice set by the NMC.
- A passion to mentor and share your knowledge with your colleagues, along with providing support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
- An understanding of effective communication, both verbally and written, and ability to role model professional behaviours.
- Advocacy and delivery of a person-centred approach to care for the people living in our care home and their families.
- Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities, recognising signs of abuse, harm or neglect, and ability to seek advice, report concerns, and escalate if needed.
