This role is for a night shift-focused position. We have created a Trainee Nursing Assistant role with an excellent development program designed to upskill and train Senior Care Assistants to take on more responsibilities and develop the skills necessary to become a Nursing Assistant. This includes tasks such as administering medicines, wound care, and catheter care, under supervision. Upon completing the program, you will receive a salary increase.
Qualifications for the development program include:
- Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care (or working towards)
- Minimum 2 yearsβ experience in Health & Social Care as a Senior Carer or similar leadership role, especially involving medication administration and shift leadership
- Knowledge of person-led care planning and relevant legislative requirements

All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
