About The Role Please note that this is a full-time role working 8am – 8pm or 8pm – 8am shifts, 38.5 hours per week. Full flexibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement care to give residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
• Build to know residents and their families and deliver truly personalised care plans.
• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care, acting as a positive influence on the team.
• Demonstrate kindness in all interactions, including assisting with activities of daily living, end-of-life support, and communicating with residents and families.
• Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities; administer medication as required.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and build strong team relationships.

Qualifications

• Ideally, Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
• Strong positive energy, ability to get along with people, good record keeping, time management, and a considerate, kind communication style.
