Overview
About The Role: This is a full-time role working 38.5 hours per week on night shifts, 8pm – 8am. Full flexibility is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care.
- Plan and implement care that provides residents with security, dignity and independence; develop personalised care plans by getting to know residents and their families.
- Ensure compassionate, kind interactions with residents, including assisting with activities of daily living and communicating with families as needed.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities; administer medications as directed.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and build strong relationships with the team.
Qualifications
- Ideally, Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care (S/NVQ) and willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification or equivalent; experience with person-centred care planning and knowledge of dementia care.
- Essential: positive energy, ability to work well with others, strong record-keeping, time management, and kind, considerate communication with residents and co-workers.
