About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will plan and deliver personalised care that provides residents with security, dignity and independence. You lead a team of Care Assistants, maintain high standards, and work closely with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide medicine, social and recreational support and accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and evaluate person‑centred care plans for residents.
- Lead and support a team of Care Assistants to deliver high quality care.
- Administer medication and support residents with their daily activities.
- Maintain accurate care documentation and work timesheets.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families and team members.
- Identify and report safeguarding concerns in accordance with policy.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent).
- Experience in person‑centred care planning and caring for people with dementia.
- Positive energy, good communication and time‑management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to keep accurate records and deliver care with kindness.
