Overview
Senior Care Assistant role at HC-One. Kindness is at the core of what we do across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes, with a focus on giving residents a sense of security, dignity and independence.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement care to deliver personalised care plans for residents.
- Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care.
- Support residents with daily activities, including mobility, meals, and communicating with families as needed.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administer medications where required.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and build strong relationships with the team.
Qualifications
- Ideally have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care and be prepared to work towards Level 3 (or equivalent).
- Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Strong communication, time management, and record-keeping skills; positive energy and an ability to get along with people.
