The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
HC-One are looking for a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping. You will also need technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as ideally some IT skills. Whenever you communicate with a resident or co-worker, you will be truly considerate and kind.
Please be aware this role is for 20 hours per week.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Operative, you will ensure our Residents live in a place that is proactively inspected and brilliantly maintained at all times. You will carry out audits and make sure records are kept up to date. Whether you are replacing a tap or mixer valve, fitting a new extractor fan, repairing the timber on a bedroom window or putting up new wallpaper in the dining room, you will do so with a sense of kindness above anything else.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
