As a Care Home Manager at HC‑One you will put kindness above all, ensuring that every resident receives compassionate, respectful care in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist homes. You will lead a dedicated team, promote independence, and continuously improve the quality of life for those we support.
Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the well‑being of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
- Lead, motivate and mentor your team, delivering clinical guidance and training to maintain safe, smooth and efficient running of the home.
- Carry out assessments, develop and evaluate individualised care plans for each resident.
- Monitor work areas and practices, ensuring safety and compliance with relevant standards, policies and legislation.
- Promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering best‑standard care and striving for continuous improvement.
- Engage in safeguarding, recognising signs of abuse and reporting concerns appropriately.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current PIN on the NMC register.
- Either a Registered Manager Award Level 4, Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or willingness to study for one.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments.
- Excellent communication skills, consistently demonstrating consideration and kindness.
