About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches every aspect of our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You will have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people. This role is for 33 hours per week and night shift only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement personalised care to give residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
  • Become familiar with residents and families, ensuring truly personalised care plans are delivered.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining the highest standards of care and influencing the rest of the team.
  • Support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with physical and mental stimulation, social and recreational activities, and medication administration.
  • Maintain accurate records of care and build strong relationships with the rest of your team.

Qualifications

  • Completed Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) in Adult Social Care.
  • Experience in person-centred care planning and caring for people with dementia.
  • Positive energy, excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with people.
  • Ability to manage your time effectively and maintain good record-keeping.
