As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll be making sure the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. This means providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervising and coaching colleagues to deliver a service that is unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
About You
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC PIN, knowledge of National Standards, and the NMC code of practice. Beyond this you should have background in person‑centred care planning within a care home. We value a positive, energetic, and approachable attitude, strong mentorship skills, effective time‑management, accurate record keeping, and a considerate, kind communication style with residents and co‑workers. You will demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding, recognising and reporting signs of abuse, harm or neglect, and working collaboratively to address concerns.
