As a Deputy Home Manager, you will ensure the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. This includes providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide a service that is unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
About You
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards, and the NMC code of practice. A background in person-centred care planning within a care home is essential. You should possess brilliant, positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people. You will be a great mentor who can manage time effectively and keep meaningful records. Whenever you communicate with a resident or co-worker, you will be truly considerate and kind. You will value kindness above all, as it drives every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes.
By joining HC-One, you will have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and it is important that you can recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm, or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
