In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them, with their own stories to tell. By joining HC‑One you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
This is a part‑time role of 10 hours per week.
- Planning and implementing activities that delight our residents.
- Assisting the Home Manager with organising essential fundraising events.
- Encouraging residents to socialise more effectively, developing new activity ideas based on residents’ hobbies, and involving the care‑home team.
- Demonstrating a positive, friendly, and compassionate approach with great planning, organisational and IT skills.
- Recognising signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect, and responding appropriately through safeguarding training and reporting procedures.
