In your role as a Kitchen Assistant at HC-One, you will value one thing above all: kindness. Responsibilities:
- Help prepare and serve nutritious, healthy meals loved by residents.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene.
- Manage food supplies and ensure proper fridge/freezer temperatures.
- Assist new starters with equipment use.
- Ensure Resident wellbeing is always the priority.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Some kitchen experience preferred.
- NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or willingness to study for one.
- Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Kind and considerate communication with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding:
- Recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect.
- Attend safeguarding training and know how to report concerns appropriately.
