In your role as a Kitchen Assistant at HC-One, you will value one thing above all: kindness. Responsibilities:

  • Help prepare and serve nutritious, healthy meals loved by residents.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene.
  • Manage food supplies and ensure proper fridge/freezer temperatures.
  • Assist new starters with equipment use.
  • Ensure Resident wellbeing is always the priority.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Some kitchen experience preferred.
  • NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or willingness to study for one.
  • Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately.
  • Kind and considerate communication with Residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding:

  • Recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect.
  • Attend safeguarding training and know how to report concerns appropriately.
