Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a variety of activities that delight our Residents, helping the Home Manager to organise essential fundraising events.
• Foster confidence in Residents to socialise more effectively, develop new activity ideas based on their hobbies, and involve the care home team.
• Communicate with Residents and co‑workers with consideration and kindness.
• Recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect in its various forms, and know what to do if concerns arise.
• Attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role, undertake additional training in associated areas, and seek appropriate advice or report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.

Qualifications

• Background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes.
• Excellent planning, organisational and IT skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Positive energy and natural ability to get along with people.
• You should possess great communication skills, be considerate and kind when interacting with Residents or co‑workers.
