Please note that this is a part-time role working 23 hours per week from 8am – 3pm. Full flexibility is required.

In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment, demonstrating your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you\’ll do so with kindness and professionalism.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential. Your positive energy, natural ability to connect with people, and effective communication skills—both listening and instructing—are vital. Always communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone\’s responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to pursue additional training as needed. You should also be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
