In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. As a Housekeeping Assistant, your role will involve maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be evident in the environment you help create. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you\’ll do so with kindness and professionalism.

HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills. A positive attitude, natural ability to get along with people, and strong communication skills—both listening and instructing—are essential. Always communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding is everyone\’s responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional related training. You should be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
