Overview
As a Care Home Manager at HC-One, you\’ll value kindness above all. It touches every aspect of our Dementia, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that residents are people with their own stories. By joining HC-One, you\’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
In this role you will take responsibility for the well-being of our Residents, including meeting their emotional and social needs. You will lead, motivate, and mentor your team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the care home. This includes developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans for each Resident. You will monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation. You will promote Residents\’ independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.
The position offers you a chance to lead provision through effective leadership and home management. You\’ll ensure we have the best people on-site, delivering an empathic service. Whether you\’re championing Resident wellbeing, establishing a vision and development plan for the home, or carrying out quality assurance monitoring to exceed regulatory standards, you\’ll do so with a focus on kindness above all else.
About You
We\’re looking for a care home–experienced manager with strong leadership skills and experience with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments. You\’ll also either have a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or be willing to study for one. And, above all, you\’ll communicate with residents and co-workers with consideration and kindness.
Safeguarding is everyone\’s responsibility. It is important that you can recognise signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in related areas. You should also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
