As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, Kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Responsibilities
- Get to know residents and their families and help ensure we deliver truly personalised care plans.
- Lead a team of Care Assistants, maintain the highest standards of care and influence the rest of the team.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager by providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication.
- Maintain accurate records of the job you do and build strong relationships with the rest of your team.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent).
- Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
- Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Brilliant positive energy and natural ability to get along with people.
- Know what good record keeping looks like, manage time effectively, and communicate with residents or co‑workers with consideration and kindness.
