Act as the primary operational point of contact for Home Managers requesting Flexforce cover, responding promptly to shift requests and working proactively to fill gaps before homes resort to agency.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of all active Flexforce workers, including their availability, preferred locations, role types, competencies, and compliance status, ensuring deployment decisions are always informed and appropriate.
Coordinate shift allocation across the bank workforce, balancing the needs of individual homes against the availability and preferences of bank workers, and managing competing demands across the portfolio effectively.
Proactively anticipate periods of high demand --- including seasonal peaks, planned leave, and known vacancy periods --- and work with Home Managers and Area Directors to ensure Flexforce cover arrangements are in place ahead of need.
Take ownership of growing the Flexforce workforce across all regions and staff groups, working closely with Regional Recruiters to ensure bank worker recruitment is embedded within the wider talent acquisition strategy.
Identify geographical areas, staff groups, or homes where Flexforce coverage is insufficient, and work with the Recruitment Manager and Regional Recruiters to target bank worker recruitment activity accordingly.
Promote flexible and bank working opportunities to prospective candidates, existing HC-One employees, and leavers who may be suitable for flexible bank roles, positioning Flexforce as an attractive and credible employment option.
Support the onboarding of new flexforce workers in conjunction with the Onboarding team, ensuring all pre-employment compliance checks are completed and bank workers are fully cleared before their first shift.
Provide regular reporting to the People Director on Flexforce size, growth trajectory, geographic coverage, and capacity against demand across the portfolio.
