Job Overview

In your role as a Clinical Unit Manager at HC One, you will value kindness which is central to our care homes.

As a Clinical Unit Manager you will take responsibility for a specific part of the home, delivering the best level of care, and running the facility when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate nursing care for a designated area of the care home.
  • Monitor resident health, assist with medication administration, and ensure resident dignity and wellbeing.
  • Act as practice supervisor and assessor for student nurses.
  • Advocate and deliver a person‑centred approach to care for residents and families.
  • Identify signs of abuse, harm or neglect; report concerns and seek appropriate advice.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in nursing within a care home or similar environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and commitment to safeguarding training.
