In your role as a Clinical Service Manager at HC-One you’ll value kindness above all. You will be responsible for overseeing and assisting every aspect of nursing care and activities within the home. You will create and update individual care plans for residents and maintain clear, accurate, up-to-date medication records. You will provide support, guidance and assistance to the team, build relationships with key partners within the community, and help strengthen the home’s profile. You’ll ensure adequate staffing through efficient management of staff rotas and may provide cover out of hours as required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home
  • Create and update individual care plans for residents
  • Maintain clear, accurate, up-to-date medication records
  • Provide coaching, guidance and formal and informal teaching to colleagues and other care professionals
  • Manage staff rotas to ensure adequate staffing
  • Provide occasional cover out of hours as required
  • Develop strong relationships with key partners in the community to support the home and its residents

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with a valid PIN
  • Knowledge of National Standards and the NMC Code of Practice
  • Background in person-led care planning within a care home
  • Willingness to coach, guide and support the team daily
  • Experience delivering formal and informal training to colleagues and other care professionals
  • A genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and ongoing professional development
