As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC-One, kindness will be at the heart of everything you do. It shapes our care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist homes. Our residents are people with rich lives and personal stories. By joining HC-One, you’ll help give something back – through care, respect and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
- Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
- Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
- Supporting infection control and safety standards
- Helping with laundry and linen care
- Reporting any issues or repairs as necessary
Qualifications
Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided. You should be organised, manage your time well and work with attention to detail. Above all you need to bring a positive attitude and have a kind and respectful approach in every conversation – with residents, visitors and team members.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
