In your role as a Care Assistant at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Whether providing long-term, short-term, convalescence, respite, or palliative care, our focus is on delivering the highest quality service at all times.

As a Care Assistant under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents. Your duties include assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals. You will deliver care that comes from the heart, ensuring residents maintain their dignity and individuality. This involves engaging in activities within the care home, supporting residents with mobility aids, offering emotional support, and providing end-of-life care, always prioritizing their well-being. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is essential that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training suitable to their role and to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
