We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our care home team. Whether providing long-term or short-term, convalescence, respite, or palliative care, our focus is on delivering the highest quality service at all times.
As a Care Assistant, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents. Your duties will include assisting residents with personal care activities, such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.
Deliver care that genuinely comes from the heart, ensuring our residents maintain their dignity and individuality. Engage in activities within the care home, support residents with mobility aids, offer emotional support, and provide end-of-life care, always prioritizing their well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone\’s responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
