Overview

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents. This includes personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, as well as helping with daily activities in the home. You will deliver care that comes from the heart—ensuring residents never lose their individuality. Whether you’re supporting someone with limited mobility, offering comfort to a distressed resident, or providing compassionate end‑of‑life care, you’ll always put their wellbeing first.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do if concerns arise, attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
