As a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will plan and implement personalised care that provides residents with a real sense of security, dignity and independence. You’ll work with residents and their families, leading a team of Care Assistants, and maintaining the highest standards of care.
Tasks include:
- Helping with mobility
- Assisting with meals
- Supporting families
- Administering medication
- Providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities
You will also assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, keep accurate records, and build strong relationships with colleagues.
Qualifications:
Ideally, you’ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care and plan to progress to Level 3 or equivalent. You should have experience in person‑centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. Essential attributes include positive energy, natural people‑skills, good record‑keeping, and effective time management.
