As a Night Senior Care Assistant at Launton Grange, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. Our residents are people with their own stories, and joining us gives you a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
You will plan and implement the care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, helping to deliver truly personalised care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain the highest standards of care and influence the team. Whether you are showing someone how to use a walking frame, assisting with meals, talking to a resident's family on the phone, or providing social and recreational activities, you will approach every task with kindness. You will also be involved in administering medication and providing essential physical and mental stimulation.
One of your key responsibilities is to maintain accurate records of your work and build strong relationships with the rest of the team. Safeguarding is everyoneβs responsibility in adult social care. You should recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and to undertake additional training. You should also be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
