As an Activities Co‐ordinator at HC‐One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. At Ash Tree, you will plan and implement activities that delight our residents, help the Home Manager organise essential fundraising events, and encourage residents to socialize more effectively. Whether you\’re developing new activity ideas based on residents\’ hobbies or engaging the broader care‐home team, you\’ll do so with a sense of kindness above all else.
HC‐One are looking for someone with a background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally having developed activity programmes. You should possess brilliant, positive energy, great planning, organisational and IT skills, and the ability to manage your time effectively. You will communicate with residents and co‐workers in a truly considerate and kind manner.
Safeguarding is everyone\’s responsibility. You must recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect in its various forms and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in associated areas. You must also be able to seek appropriate advice, report concerns and, if necessary, escalations when action is not taken.
