About the role
This is a full‑time position of 33 or 44 hours per week on days or nights. The role covers both The Gardens and Elmwood House, with possible shift coverage across both homes. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals.
- Assist residents with daily activities and routines.
- Support residents with limited mobility, offer comfort to distressed residents, and provide compassionate end‑of‑life care.
- Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
- Attend safeguarding training and undertake additional training in associated areas.
