About the role

As an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents, help the Home Manager organise essential fundraising events, and support the care home team in delivering engaging experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and run activities for Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes.
  • Assist the Home Manager with organising fundraising events.
  • Encourage residents to socialise and involve them in activities based on their interests and hobbies.
  • Use kindness and consideration in all interactions with residents and colleagues.
  • Identify signs of abuse, harm or neglect and report concerns in accordance with safeguarding procedures.
  • Attend safeguarding training and seek appropriate advice or escalation if necessary.

Qualifications

  • Background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally experience in developing activity programmes.
  • Strong planning, organisational and IT skills with effective time‑management.
  • Ability to communicate kindly and considerately with residents and co‑workers.
