About the role
We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team on a zero hour contract.
The role supports the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents, assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, as well as helping with daily activities in the home.
The Care Assistant works under the guidance of a Registered Nurse and provides compassionate, individualized care.
The role includes safeguarding duties, recognising signs of abuse or neglect and participating in safeguarding training.
Applicants must have the full right to work in the United Kingdom; no sponsorship will be offered.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene, meals) and support daily activities.
- Provide emotional and social support to residents, ensuring their individuality is respected.
- Participate in safeguarding training and identify signs of abuse or neglect.
- Support and report any concerns following the safeguarding policy.
