About the role

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will plan and implement personalised care plans that give residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence. You will know the residents and their families and help ensure we deliver truly personalised care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities.
  • Administer medication and assist with end‑of‑life care.
  • Maintain accurate records of all care activities.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care and willing to progress to Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Background in person‑centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Strong record‑keeping skills and effective time management.
  • Positive energy, kindness and the ability to get along with people.
