The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
In your role as a Minibus Driver you will undertake transport duties for the Home as directed by the manager, in order to provide transportation within the community that is safe, flexible, comfortable and well planned depending on the needs of Residents and fellow colleagues. This role is part time 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Take passengers on outings, appointments, events and activities as part of a team of colleagues and volunteers.
- Assist passengers getting in and out of the vehicle with due consideration for mobility needs, wheelchairs, safety straps/belts and ramps.
- Report mechanical problems to the Home Manager and assist with planning and scheduling vehicle use for tests (MOT/Service, etc.) well in advance.
- Ensure the vehicle is tidy and clean for Residents.

All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas.
