Responsibilities
In this role you will take responsibility for the well-being of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met across two homes. You will lead, motivate and mentor your team, provide guidance and training, carry out assessments, develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans, monitor work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with standards, policies and legislation, and promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect. The position offers you the chance to lead the provision through effective leadership and home management across two homes, ensuring we have the best people on site, delivering an empathic service, championing resident well-being, establishing a vision and development plan for the home, and carrying out quality assurance monitoring to exceed regulatory standards.
Qualifications
We are looking for a care-home experienced manager. You will have either a Registered Managers Award Level 4, Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or be willing to study for one. You should have leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments, and demonstrate kindness and consideration in all communications. Safeguarding is a core responsibility; you must recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do if concerns arise, attend safeguarding training and seek appropriate advice and report concerns including escalation if action is not taken.
