As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will work in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes, understanding that our residents are people with their own stories. Your role involves providing care that promotes security, dignity, and independence for residents.
You will get to know residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your tasks include assisting with daily activities, supporting end-of-life care, and communicating with families, all with kindness.
Involvement in providing physical and mental stimulation through activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records are key responsibilities. You should ideally have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge. Your positive energy, ability to manage time, and kindness are essential.
