As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to help deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your colleagues. Your tasks may involve demonstrating how to use mobility aids, assisting with meals at the end of life, or communicating with families, always with kindness.

Supporting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and ensure accurate record-keeping. A Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. The essential qualities include positive energy, good communication, effective time management, and kindness.
