Role Responsibilities:
- Building on your existing skills in a nurse-led environment.
- Developing complex decision-making and collaborative skills.
- Supporting residents through vulnerable times, guiding and supporting them in life-changing decisions.
- Mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues, including supporting students as a practice supervisor and assessor.
- Promoting effective communication and professional behaviors.
- Delivering person-centred care and advocating for residents and their families.
- Recognizing and reporting safeguarding concerns, participating in safeguarding training.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse with at least 12 months experience in Health or Social Care.
- Valid Pin number and understanding of NMC standards of practice.
- Passion for mentoring and supporting colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.
