As a Management Accountant, you'll play an important role in delivering accurate financial reporting and commercial insight across a portfolio of care homes. Working within our Finance team, you'll help operational leaders understand performance, support effective decision-making and ensure the highest standards of financial control and governance.
Reporting to the Group Management Accountant, you'll take ownership of the month-end close and management accounts for an assigned portfolio of care homes, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely and fully compliant with Group reporting standards and internal controls. You'll prepare management accounts, forecasts and budgets, providing clear analysis of financial performance, occupancy, revenue and key cost drivers while supporting operational colleagues to understand their results. Working closely with Home Managers and Area Directors, you'll produce meaningful financial information that helps identify opportunities, manage risks and improve performance across the portfolio. You'll be an organised and analytical finance professional who enjoys combining technical accounting expertise with strong business partnering skills. Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, you'll have excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate, insightful financial information. You'll be confident communicating financial concepts to non-finance colleagues, building positive relationships across the business and supporting operational teams to understand and improve financial performance.
