As a Home Care Support Worker you will provide care to individuals within their own homes. You will travel between clients through the community and in our retirement villages, performing a variety of tasks according to the person‑led care plan. You will receive thorough training, shadowing an experienced worker before working alone.
What You Will Do
- Personal care: help clients get up, dressed, bathe, take medication and meet nutritional needs.
- Domestic support: assist with general housework, laundry and shopping.
- Financial care: collect pensions and help clients budget effectively and manage bills.
- Social support: accompany clients to local clubs or activities and help them remain active socially.
