About The Role

Are you an organised and detail-focused professional with a passion for supporting legal and data protection processes? Join our dedicated team at HC-One as a Legal Support Administrator, where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative support to our Data Protection and Claims Management teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, values-led organisation that is committed to delivering the kindest possible care. In this role, you’ll help ensure that legal and information governance procedures are carried out efficiently, securely, and in line with all relevant regulations.

About the Role

As Legal Support Administrator, you will provide confidential and professional support across a range of legal and data protection tasks. Your role will involve:

  • Managing data and records – logging and administering requests for information, claims, and data breaches; retrieving, scanning, and securely transferring records; supporting archiving and destruction processes.
  • Coordinating with care homes and external stakeholders – arranging courier collections, sending reminders, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Providing practical support – helping homes complete required tasks, setting up meetings, and supporting the completion of the annual Data Security and Protection Toolkit.
  • Monitoring and reporting – tracking active requests, maintaining system accuracy, and escalating concerns to the appropriate team members.

You’ll work closely with a range of colleagues across HC-One, playing an important role in ensuring our legal and governance responsibilities are fulfilled.

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be a proactive and reliable administrator with a strong eye for detail and a professional approach to handling sensitive information. You enjoy working independently and as part of a team, and you take pride in staying organised and meeting deadlines.

You should have:

  • At least one year of experience in an administrative role, ideally involving legal or data protection processes.
  • A qualification at GCSE / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and managing data across systems.
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

If you\’re looking to build your skills in a trusted, supportive environment—this could be the opportunity for you.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
