You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene. Your responsibilities include managing food supplies, training new starters, and cleaning, always prioritizing Resident wellbeing.

We seek a Kitchen Assistant with some kitchen experience, ideally holding an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or willing to obtain one. Strong organizational skills, good record-keeping, and the ability to follow recipes are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All staff will attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional related training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
