As an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, you will plan and implement activities that delight residents and support their wellbeing. You will also help the Home Manager organise fundraising events and engage the care home team to promote social interaction. Kindness is the core of all tasks – ensuring residents and colleagues feel respected and supported.
You will need a background working with vulnerable individuals, preferably experience developing activity programmes. Strong organisational, planning and IT skills are essential, as is the ability to manage time effectively. You should communicate with residents and staff in a considerate and kind manner. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, attend safeguarding training, seek appropriate advice and report concerns, escalating when necessary.
