Overview

In your role as a Clinical Service Manager at HC‑One you will play a key role within the home, overseeing and assisting every aspect of nursing care and activities.

Your responsibilities include creating and updating individual care plans, maintaining accurate medication records, and providing valuable support and guidance to the team around you.

You will build strong relationships with community partners, strengthen the HC‑One brand, and ensure the home maintains adequate staffing through efficient rota management, including providing out‑of‑hours cover when required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist every aspect of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • Create and update individual care plans for residents and maintain clear, accurate medication records.
  • Provide coaching, guidance and support to the team on a daily basis.
  • Develop formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
  • Ensure staffing is adequate by managing staff rotas and providing out‑of‑hours cover as needed.
  • Actively strengthen the HC‑One brand by building relationships with key partners within the community.
  • Adhere to the NMC Codes of Conduct and maintain professional development.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN number.
  • Knowledge of National Standards and the NMC Code of Practice.
  • Background in person‑led care planning within a care home.
  • Willingness to coach, guide and mentor a team.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and support a diverse team.
